Item Details
A hand-knotted Chinese carved wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of camel, ivory, apricot, mauve, burnt orange, sky blue, rose, rust, celedon, silver and pine. The camel colored field begins with a sculpted central medallion designed with fret, and floral motifs, enclosed by partial coordinating spandrels with butterflies, and floral sprays. Framing the field is an ivory grounded main flower patterned border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton kilim skirt with cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
