Gorham Sterling Silver Flatware in the "Versailles Multi-Motif" Pattern
Item Details
A vintage flatware sterling silver service set in the _Versailles _pattern. Designed by F. Antoine Heller in multi-motif pattern, this was first introduced in 1888, and features an ornate handle with scrolled and foliate accents and figures near the tip. They are marked to the backs of the bowls with the three pseudo hallmarks of a lion, an anchor, and a Gothic “G” . The flatware service includes twelve dinner knives with stainless blades and sterling handles, a carving set (fork and knife) with stainless blades and sterling handles, one cake server with sterling handle and stainless blade, twelve dinner forks, ten pastry forks, twelve teaspoons, twelve soup spoons, eleven demitasse spoons, twelve seafood forks, one jelly spoon, one pierced serving fork, one casserole spoon, one pickle fork, one small tong, one large sugar spoon and three serving spoons. Total approximate weight excluding the carving set, cake server and dinner knives is 101.375 ozt. A wood presentation box in included with the set.

Condition
- minor marking throughout and one of the pastry forks has a bent tine.
- the presentation chest has some scratches, finish loss and the one chain has detached from lid.
