Lebadang Hoi Signed L/E Lithograph "Horses on The Run"

A signed, limited edition lithograph by well-listed Vietnamese artist, Lebadang Hoi (1921-2015). The piece, titled Chevaux en fuite or ‘Horses on the Run’ depicts several black and white horses in a colorful, flaming background including trees and mountains. Art is pencil signed ’Ho’i on lower right and numbered 116/375 to the lower left. It is mounted under glass in a gold brushed wood frame with a white mat, ready to hang.

Hoi was born in Vietnam and studied at Paris’ École des Beaux-Arts and worked in a variety of mediums, late into his life. Always striving to create art that is new and exciting, his style is clearly depicted in this artwork. He uses vivid colors such orange with splashes of blue and yellow with black highlights.

This art includes authentication on the verso; a label which reads, ‘COA Societe de Verification de la Nouvelle Gravure Internationale of New York and Paris of the Collector’s Guild certifies that this is an original lithograph’.
