French Cottage Style Painted Desk and Chair

A French cottage style painted kneehole desk and matching high back side chair. The desk and chair are in an antiqued mint green paint, with the desk top in a yellow gold faux marble painted finish. The desk has a pencil drawer to the center flanked by two pedestals, each outfitted with a pencil drawer and box drawer. The drawers are accented with dark bronze bale pulls. The desk has gilded banding to the base of the pedestals and tapered legs terminating in gilded spade feet. The Louis XV style chair is designed with a shield-shaped cane back with green-painted molded wood frame and arch detail to the base of the back, a scalloped base apron and cabriole legs terminating in paw feet. The chair, which has a caned seat, has a button-tufted loose seat cushion upholstered in a raspberry and green sateen plaid fabric.
