Hand-Knotted Persian Hamadan Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, indigo, charcoal, ivory, sapphire, clementine, and wine. The notched lozenged indigo colored field features a pole of four hooked medallions ending in a single pendant, while featuring stepped diamonds. Framing the field is a main carnation meander border, as well as a pair of running dog guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
