Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Hamadan Accent Rug

Item Details

A vintage hand-knotted Persian Hamadan accent rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in an abrashed palette of crimson, cornflower, blush, sapphire, custard, sage, and ivory. The field is centered with a chain of palmettes and lobed rosettes, and densely populated with an allover field pattern in the same motifs. Framing the field are geometric and floral meander guard borders, while the primary border features a stylized herati design. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
