A needlepoint wall-hanging by Cincinnati artist Richard Gegner titled October Edibles by well-listed Geometric Minimalist wildlife artist Charley Harper (Cincinnati, 1922 – 2007), and signed by both. This piece depicts a squirrel in his nest with a stash of acorns, and a red cardinal perched on a flower below. This work is signed by Gegner to the verso and by Harper to the lower center. It is presented behind a black mat with a brown liner, under glass, in a stained wood frame and is ready to hang with a wire.
