Item Details
A signed, wheel thrown raku fired vase by Stephen Scagnelli. The vase has an ovoid form with a defined rim and gentle shoulder, tapering to a wide base. It has been finished in the raku firing process, giving an exceptional color range of bright, metallic copper greens and blues with oranges and plum. It is signed ‘Scagnelli’ in gold tone ink to the underside over the black carbon trapping from the firing process. An informative pamphlet comes with the vessel.
