Hand-Knotted Persian Heriz Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Heriz wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of cranberry, saffron, ivory, sky blue, teal, and indigo. The serrated lozenged cranberry colored field begins with a lobed pendant medallion, along with a lattice design with an array of floral motifs. The field also features sky blue grounded spandrels with an over-sized leaf and floral motifs. Framing the field is a saffron grounded main palmette and floral designed border, as well as a chained guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
