A hand-knotted Persian wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of sapphire, crimson, wheat, cerulean, clementine, ivory, carnation, and walnut. The sapphire hued field features an allover herati design, while framed in a main crimson grounded leaf and calyx border. There is also a florette and bracket border, a meandering border, and comb minor borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
