Hand-Knotted Persian Qashqai Wool Long Rug

Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai wool long rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of cranberry, black, burnt orange, wine, charcoal, and ivory. The cranberry hued field features a pair of poles with three hexagonal medallions each infilled with a memling gul, and accompanied by other guls, and stepped diamond motifs. Framing the field is a main stepped sawtooth border, as well as two styles of crenelated guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
