Hand-Knotted Persian Qasqai Wool Long Rug

A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai wool long rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of cimson, indigo, wine, burnt orange, white, and slate. The lozenged crimson hued field features sawtooth edges, along with a pole of three stepped diamond medallion with concentric stepped forms, and a series of rosettes. The lozenge is grounded by a wine colored field and features coordinating designs. Framing the field are two borders including an arrow patterned border, and a stylized bird-head border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool and goat hair warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
