Two late 18th-century equestrian engravings from Manoel Andrade’s (1755-1817) publication Luz da Liberal, e Nobre Arte da Cavallaria. Included is Estampa 14 page 196, and Estampa 79 page 400, from the book; each features an engraving by Manuel Algere after illustrations by Joachim Carneiro da Silva (1728-1818). Both works are presented under glass with double-matting and housed in matching brown and gold-tone wood frames. Labels from Galerie du Monde are adhered to the versos of each.

Condition

- small stain present to lower plate edge of one print; minor wear in frames includes stains, scratches, and finish loss scattered throughout.

- measurement of one frame, both same size; one visible image measures approximately 7.5" W x 11" H.
