Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Heriz wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash and variegated palette of crimson, cobalt, ivory, clementine, sky blue, plum, mocha, carnation, wine, charcoal, and gold. The crimson hued field features three medallions ending in branched leaf and floral motifs, accompanied by rectilinear designed bird, floral, and other filler motifs. Framing the field is a cobalt grounded diagonal stripe border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
