Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of scarlet, ivory, wine, taupe, sky blue, indigo, rose, and walnut. The scarlet hued field begins with a central pendant medallion in a floral theme, while featuring large flower filled vases to each end, along with floral sprays throughout. Framing the field is a main floral border, as well as a pair of carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
