A pair of antique Victorian Tudor Revival style walnut chairs with needlepoint upholstery. The pair features a side chair and a low armchair, both with straight crest rails upholstered in green and multicolor floral needlepoint between straight stiles topped with carved medallion finials. The seats are also upholstered in the green and multicolor floral needlepoint, while the apron of the side chair and slanted plank arms of the armchair are upholstered in olive green velvet with nailhead trim. The seats rise on carved square legs joined by a shaped stretcher with carved medallion and acanthus leaves. There are no visible maker’s marks.
