A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Kashan wool area rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of slate blue, scarlet, ivory, teal, salmon, cerulean, mocha, and sky blue. The slate blue hued field features an allover herati design that flows to the scarlet hued spandrels. Framing the field is a main unresolved palmette and floral designed border, along with a floral guard border, and a diamond minor border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
