Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Heriz wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of cranberry, ivory, powder blue, wine, indigo, salmon, walnut, gold, and charcoal. The cranberry hued field a series of nine medallions including rectilinear forms and hooked hexagonal shapes. The field also features an array of flowering branches, while framed in a main ivory grounded two-petal calyx border, and a floral meander guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
