A hand-knotted Persian Heriz wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash an variegated palette of indigo, crimson, teal, tangerine, cobalt, wheat, carnation, and ivory. The indigo hued field features a pole of three serrated hexagonal medallions, each infilled with boxes and a branched form, while enclosed by partial medallions forming an infinity design. Framing the field is a tangerine grounded floral meander border, a cobalt grounded leaf and calyx border, and a leaf and eight pointed star panel to each end. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
