Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Heriz wool carpet runner. The rug features a small central medallion flanked by two large cartouche shaped medallions in a palette of periwinkle, carnation, aqua, and cream on a crimson ground populated with floral and leaf accents. The rug has a compound border with rosette and ribbon motifs, hand overcast selvedges, and natural warp fringe. It does not have a maker’s mark.
