Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Heriz wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a slight abrash palette of crimson, blue-violet, ivory, sky blue, cornsilk, rose, chartreuse, ochre, and black. The crimson hued field features four flower filled vases with two styles of arrangements, along with partial forms to the edges. Framing the field is a main blue-violet grounded stylized floral meander border, as well as a pair of floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
