A hand-knotted Persian Qashqai area rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in a palette of madder red, tangerine, sapphire, and ivory and features a trio of diamond pole medallions infilled with floral and geometric motifs. The sapphire field is framed by a dart guard border, while the primary border displays an undulating pattern over madder red. It is finished with overcast barber pole selvedges and multi-colored wool warp fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
