Hand-Knotted Persian Hamadan Mir-a-Boteh Wool Carpet Runner
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan mir-a-boteh carpet runner. This wool pile rug is rendered in a palette of madder red, indigo, cerulean, and ivory and features an allover boteh field pattern. The field is framed with an inward facing triangular border and ‘X’ and diamond guard borders, while the primary border is comprised of a serabend meander over ivory. It is finished with overcast barber pole selvedges and cropped wool warp fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
