Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Karaja Heriz rug. This runner features a dense wool pile in coral red with linked medallions along the length of the center field which alternate combinations of stone grey, mustard, navy, cream, umber and teal. The center field is bound by a crenelated trim, beyond which is a principle border containing a resolved abstract pattern in teal, grey, navy, and umber, as well as a narrow minor border. The rug is finished with a natural warp fringe to both ends and a single-wrapped selvage to both sides.
