A hand-knotted Turkish Yomut area rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in a palette of mulberry, umber, crimson, sapphire, and ivory and features an allover lattice of gabsa gul medallions. The field is framed by compound medahil guard borders, while the primary border features a resolved geometric meander over ivory. It is finished with yomut eagle elems, overcast selvedges, and wool warp fringe that has been reinforced. The rug is unlabeled.
