Vintage Mahogany Slant Front Ladies Secretary Desk

A vintage ladies writing desk/ slant front secretary. This stained mahogany piece has a metal back guard to the shelf that frames the back and sides of the slanted front. The front has a document rest along the bottom, but also opens to interior work space with divided storage. It has side cabinets with applied accents and bottom drawers with veneered faces and brass button knobs. The scrolled accents of the cabinet doors are echoed in the openwork spandrels of the cabriole legs.
