Large Wheel Thrown Stoneware Jug with Wrapped Rattan

Item Details

A large wheel thrown stoneware jug with wrapped rattan. It features an umber brown finish on the neck and shoulders with a reddish brown glossy finish on the body. The jug features an umber brown angled side handle and the body is wrapped in a tawny brown rattan creating a diamond design. The jug finishes on a circular ceramic base with an umber finish and felt pad feet. It is signed illegibly to the underside.

Condition

- to fair, vase holding together well with no chips, some wear/discoloration, removal of rattan in some cross areas.
