Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Lamberan wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of indigo, salmon, powder blue, ivory, mint, ochre, slate, and terracotta. The indigo hued field features five alternating hooked hexagonal and square shaped medallions, accompanied with branched floral forms, and rectilinear designed flowers throughout. Framing the field is a terracotta grounded main rosette border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
