A vintage hand-knotted Persian Viss Heriz rug. This rug features a cobalt blue field adorned with repeating abstract and stylized organic motifs in watermelon, cochineal, petal pink, and sage green. The center field is trimmed by two borders containing repeating floral motifs in violet, fuchsia, sage, and petal pink. The rug is finished with a double-wrapped selvage to both sides and a natural warp fringe to both ends.
