Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Senneh wool long rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of sand, scarlet, sapphire, sky blue, ivory, carnation, teal, and slate. The sand colored field begins with a star shaped pendant medallion with a floral theme, along with coordinating spandrels, and an allover diamond lattice design. Framing the field is a main floral meander border grounded in sapphire, as well as carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
