A hand-knotted Persian Bijar wool room sized rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of madder red, indigo, ivory, salmon, teal, wheat, gold, and wine. The madder red colored field features an allover harshang design, while framed in an indigo grounded main medallion meander border, as well as cruciform patterned guard borders, and carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
