Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Hamadan wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, carnation, cobalt, walnut, camel, pale yellow, wine, and black. The ivory lozenged field begins with a pendant medallion, while featuring an allover herati design, and grounded by carnation hued spandrels infilled with coordinating motifs. Framing the field are colorful borders including diagonal stripe, carnation meander, and an S design. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges, with a wool warp fringe to one end, and the other end bound. It is labeled ‘Made in Iran’.
