Each medal varies in event, with a ‘Alexander Graham Bell First Telephone’ medal, a ‘Apollo II One Giant Step for Mankind’ medal, a ‘Golden Spike The Transcontinental Railroad’ medal, a ‘The Signing of the Declaration of Independence’ medal, a ‘Aviation Wright Brothers’ medal, and a ‘The United States of American Bicentennial 200 Years of Progress’ medal. The set is presented in a wood grain box, with each medal having a lettered hallmark to edge ‘sterling’, and ‘45-50’. This set is numbered set 45 of 50 in the original offering.
