A vintage Vienna petit point evening bag with accessories by Maria Stransky, The Queen of Petit Point, Vienna. This box-shaped handbag features scenic design with a dancing couples, musician, castle and moat, and other floral detailing. It includes a different scene on each side of the handbag. The hinged folding rectangular handles also include petit point detailing in a gold tone frame. The barrel shaped openwork metal clasp opens to a compartment with two matching compacts in pockets with a large accordion style pocket. One compact includes a mirror and power with puff marked ‘The Queen of Petit Point,’ and ‘Made in Vienna.’ There is also a matching comb.
