Antique Sheraton Style Desk

An antique Sheraton style lady’s writing desk. This desk features an upper recessed cabinet with two tambour doors enclosing two small drawers and three letter slots each, flanking a central small door with an marquetry eagle enclosing two slots and one small drawer. The case of the piece features a fold-out writing surface with sliding supports, three drawers, tapering square legs and bail handle pulls with pressed metal back plates. Unmarked.

- multiple knobs are missing and replaced by screws; the veneer to the writing surface (presumably leather) is missing, leaving unfinished wood exposed; moderate scratches and wear.
