A mid 19th-century English School oil painting on board of a pastoral landscape. The bucolic scene features a river winding through a hilly green landscape, populated with a fisherman and a cow grazing in the foreground. Unsigned, the work is presented in a giltwood frame.

Condition

- craquelure and small spots of accretion scattered throughout; small spot of paint chipping to left edge; wear to frame includes stains, scratches and large spots of finish loss scattered throughout; frame is slightly separating at corners.
