An East Asian ink and gouache on paper painted hanging scroll of a horse tied to a tree. It is inscribed along the right edge with black ink and marked with a red seal. This work is mounted as a hanging scroll on silk brocade. The piece is weighted with a dowel and to the lower section and hangs with a ribbon affixed to the upper section.

Condition

- image area and gold silk are dirty and stained; paint lifting off the image area; tan border on top of image area is detaching from base material; gold silk material lifting off the paper backer creating image loss.
