A Japanese ink and gouache on paper painted hanging scroll of the Seven Lucky Gods (七福神). It is inscribed along the right edge with black ink and marked with red seals. This work is mounted as a hanging scroll on silk. The piece is weighted with a dowel and to the lower section and hangs with a ribbon affixed to the upper section.

Condition

- dirt, stains ,foxing thjroughout the image area; borwn tapestry border at the top and bottom of the image green tapestry border area is torn, tatterd & worn – top border is separating from material; green tapestry border is tattered and worn; gold tone tapestry is dirty and stained – bottom of gold tapestry is pulling away from material base.
