An antique silver plate nut dish by the Meriden Britannia Company and Rogers Brothers, dated to the late 19th century. This piece features a bowl modeled after cracked acorn with a figural squirrel crest and a leaf-shaped underplate with a loop handle. It is marked to its underside, ‘Made And Guaranteed By Meriden B. Company, Rogers Bros. 1 U.S.A.’, and presented with a small floral motif scoop.
