1906 Schoenau & Hoffmeister "Dolly" Bisque Head Doll

Item Details

An antique Schoenau & Hoffmeister bisque and composition doll. This German made doll features a hand-painted bisque socket head with a modern blonde wig, feathered brows, inset glass eyes with rooted lashes, and parted coral lips which reveal a row of teeth. Her fully jointed composition body is clad in a contemporary pink dress with a tulle underskirt and pale pink shoes. The back of her head is impressed with “Germany, SH, PB (inside star symbol), 1906, 16”.

Condition

- to fair, wig detached, light markings to face and body, discoloration and fray to clothing, head and body appear to have been refurbished.
