An original oil painting on canvas by contemporary Kentucky artist Paula Risch Head. This Expressionist style landscape painting depicts a lake view, with trees, ground and sky in multiple layered colors. It is signed by the artist to the lower left. This work is presented in a bronze tone painted wood trim with bead trim. The reverse includes a rear wire, and is ready to hang.

Paula Risch Head is a native and current resident of Kentucky, has been painting for over twenty five years. After graduating Highlands High School, Risch traveled extensively in Europe studying art and returning to NKU to earn her BFA in painting. She studied with Michael Skop, David Mueller, and owned and operated Risch Gallery in FortThomas from 1983-1998. She continues to paint taking her inspiration from the ever changing landscape of the Ohio River.
