A mid 20th century graphite and white charcoal drawing on paper of a bay. This piece depicts a loosely rendered shore with the surrounding rocks and foliage drawn with loose delineations. The artist’s illegible signature is present to the lower right and appears to read ‘F.S. Ventz.’ This piece is presented mounted under glass in a gold-toned wooden frame.

Condition

- wear to edges of frame; dust and accretions present to surface of frame and glass; billow to paper; loss of paint to edges of frame; wear to corners of frame.
