Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Bijar wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a slight abrash palette of crimson, sky blue, sapphire, ivory, mocha, camel, and celedon. The open crimson colored field begins with a lobed pendant medallion, with coordinating spandrels in an overall floral theme. Framing the field is a main branched floral designed border grounded in sapphire, along with a pair of carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
