A mid 20th century oil painting on canvas board of a nautical scene. This piece depicts boats in a bay with flocks of seagulls hovering around a large steamship. The artist’s illegible signature is present to the lower left corner and appears to read ‘Emile Goldsen.’ This piece is presented in a gold-toned wooden frame with a string hanger to the verso.

Condition

- wear to edges of frame; dust and accretions present to frame and painting surface; loss of paint to edges of painting due to frame rubbing.
