Vintage Hand-Knotted Chinese "Vase" Carved Wool and Silk Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Chinese carved wool and silk accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of black, rose, sage, walnut, sand, and burnt orange. The black hued field features sculpted vases at each end with a floral and foliate arrangement, while framed in a main rose colored border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a silk kilim skirt with silk warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled, but a name is written in ink to the underside edge.
