Vintage Power-Loomed Karastan-Style Palace Sized Rug

Item Details

A vintage power-loomed Karastan-style palace sized rug. This large wool pile is rendered in a palette of rose, lavender, aqua, goldenrod, cornflower, and wheat and features an allover field pattern comprised of tree of life, lobed rosettes, foliage, and palmette motifs. The field is framed by floral meander compound borders, while the primary border displays a curvilinear floral design over wheat. It is finished with serged selvedges and applied wool fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
