A hand-knotted Sino-Persian Kashan style wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, powder blue, indigo, mauve, camel, taupe, slate blue, and walnut. The ivory colored field begins with a central floral medallion, while featuring a dense lattice design of palmettes, leaves, and floral motifs. Framing the field is a main stylized herati border, as well as an array of floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled ‘Sino Kashan’
