William and Polia Pillin worked from their studio in Los Angeles that opened in 1948, while Polia typically painted the finished pieces formed by William. This particular vase has a dome shape that tapers at the base, and offers a thin neck with a flared rim. It features a drip glaze in hues of ivory, browns, and amber with a speckled finish. The underside is marked ‘W+P Pillin’.
