A vintage Chippendale style black painted side chair. This chair features a wooden frame with black paint finish and a scalloped crest rail over a carved, pierced splat flanked by curved and carved stiles. The chair includes an off white upholstered seat over deep apron sides with scalloped edges rising on cabriole legs and terminating on claw and ball feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
