A lithograph on paper by well-listed German Expressionist artist Käthe Kollwitz (1867 – 1945) titled Mary and Elizabeth. The work depicts the Visitation of Mary to Elizabeth as described in Luke 1:39–56. The piece is hand signed and titled to the lower right. It is presented matted and framed.

Käthe Kollwitz was a German Expressionist artist. Born in 1867 in Prussia, Kollwitz studied art in Munich, Germany. Her work focuses on genre subjects, and depictions of lower and middle class life. Her work can be found in collections including The Museum of Modern Art, National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Käthe Kollwitz Museum in Berlin.
